A conservatory is a dance or music class, I think. ;-)

Yeah, it´s a music school. Yet when I look up "conservatorio" in my dictionary it just says "conservatory".

Just goes to show how you can´t rely on dictionaries.

for 'conservatory' I get 'invernadero'..........but I thought that was more like a greenhouse/hothouse

I suggested 'naya cubierta' because that would be the nearest thing I know in general usage, as far as what you actually see on houses

Naya doesn´t even appear in my dictionary. I´ve been wracking my brains, but I can´t think that I have ever seen a house with a conservatory in Spain. Do they really exist here?

Anyway Lynnxa, I´m interested to know your suggested translation for "pure water fed pole"...!! I´m not sure I even understand what that is supposed to mean in English!

the phrase in the stuff he PM'd me was 'using the very latest in water purification technology and Reach and Wash pole cleaning systems.'

which I translated as 'usando el muy último en la tecnología de purificación de agua y el Alcance y Lava sistemas de limpieza de poste'
