Default Help for mentally disorderly

Are there any homes over here on Costa Blanca for the mentally disorderly? A guy of 55 really needs help. He is an ex pat from Palestine, and his paper work is not sorted, but it is all difficult to sort things out.
Is there an organisation that would take him in and give his care over here?

Hi, there is a charity in Spain called Age Concern. It helps people aged 55 and over. Sorry don´t have any contact details but you should be able to find them on the internet. Hope this helps.

It may be that he could be accompanied to the emergency department of the local hospital, with an interpreter if needed. He could then be assessed there. Should he be a risk to himself or others he may be offered admission. He maybe referred to another dept. depending on their assessment.

Cruz Roja are probably your best first port of call. If they can't help, they will point you in the right direction. Right direction could well be Policia mind.
