Hi all
What a great site i've found!

We are hoping to move over to Spain. We are currently renovating a big old house & when its done we'll hopefully sell and then make the move.

We are going out end of July to look at some other areas, using Elviria Nr Marbella as our base.

We have 2 young children, 5 yrs & 2 yrs - so was wondering if there was anyone on here either in same situation or already moved over to offer advise/chat ect...

john - We need to make a list of places to visit & get a feel of the different areas. Anywhere you'd recommend?
We've been to Marbella, Puerto Banus and stayed at Bena Vista (?)
We are a family with 2 kids so need good schools (state or English not decided yet..) Beach within 10 mins drive.. somewhere not completely english!
But somewhere with a small/medium ex pat community....

Well i am in Riveria 10 minutes from Marbella a good mix of people here. Everything i need is here banks, restaurants, friendly bars, beach over the road. There is a school near by as i see all the British kids getting off a coach if I'm out at that time.

It is a nice community what goes up a long avenue quite high up and a golf course in the middle. This is my view to give you an idea.



Plenty of other similar places all up the coast but i really like this place and feel if i have dropped on lucky as it ticks all my boxes.

As soon as RM ans LB see that user name they will be in with help like a shot.

HAHA I love the view myself, can't beat walking onto the roof terrace early morning with a coffee etc makes it all worth while. If you come out give me a shout and i will more than happily show you the sites and introduce you to the right people.
