Hi I am researching moving to Spain shortly but would like some advice on Medical expenses etc. I have just recovered from Breast Cancer but am now required to take Tamoxifen for the next 5 years. Does anyone in Spain (Murcia region) have any experience of obtaining medicines like this in Spain & an approximate cost.

Also can anyone recommend Health Insurance from a company that will cover a former cancer patient.

If you have been paying a stamp in the UK you may get some health cover in Spain for a couple of years.
If you contact DWP, they will give you more info on if you are entitled to any cover.
Most drugs are available over the counter here if you have to pay for them, also most are much cheaper.

Private health insurance does not normally cover drugs unless administered in hospital.

You are right in many cases, but as they don't have that flat fee like in the UK, sometimes you get stung if the drug prescribed is expensive, and the percentage you do have to pay can leave you with a high cost.
