Default health cover

We are looking to renew our health cover which expires in August. But we are leaving for France September/October. Does anyone know a health insurer who will either bill monthly of give us 3 months cover? Sanitas refuse point blank to issue less than 12 months.
Many thanks

What they are saying is although we can pay monthly, it is a year's contract so they will take 12 months premiums. Unless we leave the bank account empty when we leave, we run the risk that they will do precisely as they say. Movistar are already doing this with a phone contract. where we returned the phone (as agreed with the shop) within 48 hours as there is not reception in the house. Movistar simply immediately removed 18 months rental in one go. Which we are pursuing with a Hoja through our gestoria.
So I am in little doubt Sanitas will do the same
