Just wondering if this new 3D channel from Sky works in Spain?

I have SKY HD in the costa blanca on a 120CM dish, it works really well. I just don't get BBC HD, BBC1, BBC 2 but everything else works perfect. Does that mean SKY 3D should work as long as I have a 3D TV or does the 3D broadcast on another satellite?

Sky 3d (UK) is on the same satellite as all the usual UK TV channels.
It is on Astra 2a north - if you can get all the other HD channels then the 3d on Astra 2a North will also be available (its on the same frequency as Sky Arts 1 HD)

You require a Sky HD box and a 3d TV (with glasses) to watch it.

But at the moment on 1000 or so PUBS in the UK have access to it.

It will be available later in the year to subscribers of the FULL sky mix plus HD.

Although other services around Europe have also stated their intentions for a 3d channel -like D+ and even Astra themselves have announced a 3d preview / test channel!
