Wondering if anyone has put an English car onto Spanish plates without using a third party. If so how hard is it ?

Yes, over 200 helping other people - you will need a reasonable level of Spanish and a knowledge of where offices are like ITV station, Ayuntamiento, Hacienda, Trafico

ok maybe i will get it done for me then lol I know where the ITV and Ayuntamiento are but my Spanish is very limited. Thank you for the reply. Do you do this for a job ?

No - I did my own Luton Transit (which they thought was a horsebox so allowed me to rematriculate it). I was helped by a Spanish speaking school-friend and we didn't believe how complicated it was in those days.

So we decided to help others only charging enough to cover our costs; there is a great satisfaction when you finally get the new Spanish number plates on your vehicle.

How did you manage to import a Transit?
I thought all commercial vehicles could not be imported because of the blind side, or is yours left hand drive?

Back in 2003 my RHD Transit was converted onto Spanish plates. Because they thought it was a horsebox it was allowed at that time
