Had a "Nice" day today
Got away from the seaside and headed inland to El Chorro which isn't on my nav! The King's walk looks extremely dodgy, had a reasonable meal at one of the place along the reservoir. Went on to Antequera to visit the Dolmens di Menga etc. arrived at 16:15 and was told that it was free to visit but I had to be very Quick as they were closing at 16:30, so just as the Yanks do London in 30mins, we did the Dolmens in 15. Then we rushed back home for an Ice Cold Beer. Must be off we're in a bit of a hurry, Luvly Day..............

It was a bit of a P"£$ take after all the serious stuff going on with everyone getting their knicks in a twist.
Seriously though it would be useful to have some ideas on where to go etc. in each area. Not everyone wants to sit in the pub/cafe all day. The POIs have always been a bit of a grey area. I saw 2 castles also but no idea whether they are viewable, reliable Info along these lines would be most welcome, to us anyway.

I used to visit Antequera when I lived on the CDS, it was an hour's drive then and seemed like 'real Spain'. I know it's a daft thing to say, but the place seemed to be full of 'little' people, stature wise.

A lot of palces here have free entry to EU Passport holders, well I can speak for the Alcazaba in Almería, well worth paying for, though was free, full of history, find out bout it first but an excellent few hours spent wondering around ( more than once)
so many places to visit and dont have time, and that is living here lol
Well cant leave the elderly dog too long, once she has one then we shall be all over the place like a rash lol

Funds have supposedly been allocated for the renovation of the Caminito del Rey which is scheduled to begin in 2014 (we will see) - but you wouldn't get me up there for a gold clock, restored or not!

I think this will be a big boost to tourism in the area, when finished.
