So, how has your day been today?

Has it been nice? What you been up to?

I am sat with a rum on the rocks, I have turned the phones off and am settling in after a whole day of pruning and snubbing vines, oh and the bloody dog decided to run through a greenhouse door this morning so she is now missing a jew claw and is pissed at not being able to go out for a walk!!

Had a structural engineer round to check the villa as you might remember we had some cracks .... pleased to say the place is as safe as ..... errr. ........ houses and we will not be sliding down the hill into the orange groves any time soon ..... hopefully

Nice day apart from the window company replying to our e-mail demanding that they finish our windows. Quess what???? They said that they are closed until 7 Sept and apologised for the annoyances. So we are fed up and cross at the moment. Feel like we have been chasing them forever, actually it is since the end of last September.

well, got rid of a load of unwanted items at a local auction, made a bit more than expected, AND IT RAINED yeahh first real rain since April, but didn't really last long enough.

What a simply fantastic thread!!!! I have had a mixed day - I've been told I'm a twat, a tosser, cruel and wicked, offered a spade, as it seems I am something of an expert at saying the wrong thing - on the downside I've had the afternoon off work to take the wife and lad shopping for school clothes - fantastic combination of shopping, a 15 y.o. teenage boy and pre-menstrual woman - I deserve a medal.

We've had a fairly nice day, went inti Canterbury, had a coffee in pavement cafe(not QUITE the same ambiance as Gandia!) then went and picked up the Mini that my sons Dad just bought him. H.G drove it back, he said never again!! its been 'modified' shakes like mad and stinks of burning oil, methinks a lemon has been bought!
,Then met another couple for drinkies in nice pub, they are moving to Spain too, eventually to same area as us, I met him by chance at a council meeting, they are both lovely, so 2 more friends to meet in Spain!
All in all quite a nice day
