Thanks very much, I have ordered the book. I'm going to try planting things in a polythene bag with gravel at the bottom for drainage, then putting it in the container, so the whole lot is enclosed, and should retain water.Then water through a pipe. Anyone tried anything similar?

Probably all you have to do to do that is mention Dubya, and the war, and I have in a single post on the thread about Andy, so am expecting some flak. All you need to do is the go to the lounge, post soemthing that upsets them, then unsubscribe from the thread, you'll never know if anyone replies.

Surely the appeal of sending upsetting posts, is to watch the mayhem they cause. They certainly seem to get a lot of attention anyway. I had a look at those sites, and those questions from Andy are a bit naughty aren't they. I guess they have a certain humour unless you have an old incontinent relative of course, or I suppose, a pet sheep. Sounds more like a sort of school boy naughtiness than a downright malicious attack. Some people obviously take them to heart. If they could just ignore it, it would be much less fun, and possibly even stop, but that's folk for you eh! Makes for a lively read anyway. ;)
