Graceless in Victory
Just thought I'd like to say, as a Man City fan, I hope all Man Utd all over the world are currently skulking in the shadows, hiding their faces, or just downright embarassed.
I was worried about this game - as we can't normally buy a win against teams at the bottom of the table!!!!

Re: Graceless in Victory
I would never imagine in a million years we'd finish ahead of the scum this season (but sometimes the unimaginable does happen). A single figure finish would be great this year, Europe would be brilliant.
Considering Manure had a Championship winning side and we were pants last year and that they spent £53m on 3 players and we spent £43m on 8 players, and lost arguably 2 of last year best players in the close season, I personnally would be suicidal if I was a Red this evening.
Anything less than a win at Spurs next week and your domestic season is over, I'd be worried - one season out of the champs league and you're bankrupt! Oh I can dream!!!

To quote from the Independent :-
"No club has quite the propensity that City has to imagine a bright new future on the thinnest of evidence"
Ha! Too true by half!!!

Leigh. By all means bask in the glory but you're running the risk of embarrassing yourself later on. The "thinest of evidence" is exactly what it says. A jury wouldn't convict the accused on the "thinest of evidence"no more than you can might suspect your other half is cheating on you because the caller hung-up when you answered the phone. That is the "thinest of evidence" to suspect her. It means that it's virtually NO EVIDENCE
Pride before a fall....fools rush in... etc.
Don't get me wrong, I strongly dislike Manure and was pleased that you beat them. But let's be serious. Manure had an off-day with 2 influential figures missing. The rest of their team looked poor. Giggs looked short of pace and Scholes appeared clueless. Across the M62 Rob Styles did Manure a favour. It's not over yet and I predict that Citeh will fall at the Emirates on Saturday. From then on-in it will be business as usual for you. But as I've said in a previous post - good luck to Man City. Shame your Manager is an arse.

Re: Graceless in Victory
I reckon they should give the England post to Sven, he's made such a great start at Man City.

Re: Graceless in Victory
Iirc we have dropped back 9 points or so in the past
Someone was commenting the other day that their style has changed and wondered if they were styling it towards the champions league more.
