I have sent them a few bits to look at that I was given in the Lab.

I didn't buy a hat, so any sensible suggestions would be good.

I went down the garden centre earlier and they had some of those plastic gnomes, with the big pointy red hats with bells on .... I'm sure they do them in tweed

Contempt.

That's the only way this post should be treated!

Hi all.

Only just catching up with this (and other!) threads.

Sorry to hear that you were feeling rough, and a bit down in the dumps on Saturday, Matt :(
Glad to hear that you're a bit better now though.

Same goes for you Jean.
Sounds like you were having a bit of a nightmare over the weekend :(
Hope things are a bit more settled for you now?
I WILL reply to your e-mail and your PM.................I promise!!

Sam Parky - it sounds like you had a FAB weekend
Glad you had such a good time with your brother and sis in law.
How lovely that they could come for the weekend.
It sounds like you packed loads in; and no doubt they didn't want to leave!
Sounds like the weather was lovely and sunny - lucky you! We've had FOG most of the weekend
Hope your hangover has well and truly gone by now?

Spain - I'm really jealous that you got to see your friends' baby. Our friends in the UK have just had their first baby, and I've had to make do with photos of him; when what I really want is a cuddle!!
Hope your son will get the plaster off his leg by Christmas, poor lad :(
I bet he's going demented, not being able to play footie!
Sounds like the football side of things leads to a great social life for all of you.
Not sure I could cope with too many of those 15 course lunches though!

Matt - are you really being serious about those clothes ...............and the fact you're going on a shoot????? :(

I had a lovely day out on Sunday with the walking group - despite the FOG!!
It was especially nice to get home and watch a recording of the wonderful Liverpool win against Bolton!!

Will try and get around to posting about a couple of things I've done lately, along with a few photos maybe.

Night to you all, must get off to my hot water bottle now! ;)

I shall be looking down on the guys I used to beat with and treating them like the serfs they surely are.

What do you think of them?

I think they look like clothes worn by men who are deficient in some other part of their lives.

Well........you did ask.

and why did you have to reply?

Things were so good Derby, you ignored me(albeit with the snide comments) and I ignored you.

You don't like my type of humour and find it hard to take a joke, I cant get my head around your lack of humour and how uptight you can be.........................we are like water and oil, so lets go back to being that, I wont bite at you, I know you want me to so that you can stand back and say................."I told you so" but I wont, so either get over it, accept my offer of an olive branch or piss off and leave my posts alone.

??

I'm afraid so Sam, I have never made a secret about shooting, I own a few guns now and have shot for years, I don't like organised shoots, I think they are organised slaughter, but some friends have a small walked up shoot in Hampshire and I would like to go on it so I am.

I am at least honest about my meat eating, I am more than happy to kill what I eat and the freezer is nearly always full of pigeons and other stuff...........

Sorry.
