I'm back:)
the witch didn't go, and there was, as far as I can tell, no personal complaint about us the meeting is still going on, naturally, and maybe they will actually decide to decide to vote about voting on something by about 4pm, but the neighbours I was translating for had had enough & are now heading out for brunch! the usual spanish thing of at least half the people in the room all talking at once, about several different things, so as I'm translating one thing they have changed the subject & I've missed the next bit:blink: the other usual spanish thing of going round in circles about the same problem year after year, and nothing ever changing they don't seem to get that if they actually voted on things, then they might change:lol: guess we'll have to wait for the minutes, but since no-one was taking notes, who knows what will be in them? |

I don't think anyone would have minded, especially since I knew almost everyone there I found I wanted to join in the discussion, but as I was there to translate & it would have been my opinion it didn't seem like I should:( there was quite a lengthy discussion about noisy kids in general (not mine in particular), and a written complaint (bet you can't guess who from;)) about them playing in the 'quiet area' and the garden - but then of course the parents of the kids wanted to know where their kids were supposed to play when there isn't a special area for them the nearest they came to a decision on this was that as long as they were quiet during siesta and after midnight, then tough!:rofl: bicycles were mentioned - but then they were 'banned' last year, along with skateboards |
