Yes, we bumped in to Jaime in Laguna Square this morning and he is very confident it will open 1st Sept., and then met owner of La Cabra and we think he was telling us still hoping to open but not till February at earliest, all positive.

Both would indeed be fantastic, but I'll take what we can get for now. We wish them luck, and yes they have the opportunity to make the GC the 'social centre' of CE - as they mention on the web page. :fingerscrossed: With the right 'planning' it could well be. H2O Being Spanish (also) I hope the 'plan' will include a healthy Spanish involvement, as I hope the La Cabra management would (also) do in any new resto development.

It isnt 100% signed, sealed and delivered yet, but hope as they have published this on a web page, it really is sorted, (quote H2O have an unofficial agreement with Fadesa). With them nothing is finalised till 'ink on paper'... even then its a bit tricky!

GC, 19H, Busses, 'Eurocity', Resto, golf course helping property values and giving fun (and yes even a waterpark and Mcdo :)) ..... = 'green shoots??'. Hope so.

Thanks to Bryony for alerting us on the forum.

Jon

Hi all, as from tomorrow H2O will properly close the entrances (including the 8th) to the Golf Course so there will be no more free play. This is to enable work to be carried out, including tining the greens, and it needs time to recover.

If you all could spread the word and also add that anyone found on the course during this time will be asked leave.

Please bare with them on this so that we can all look forward to playing Costa Esuri once again, Mike

I don't think there will be any complaints about the loss of free golf. We should all breathe a sigh of relief that you have posted this encouraging news. With luck it will be open for play by the time I arrive at the end of September. Even if it isn't I will be happy to wait until it is conditioned to their satisfaction.

Hi John, all I can tell you is that they are working on it now and hope to be open early Sept. From what we have been told there are going to be a few changes but no one will be allowed inside until the opening night as they want it to be a surprise. They seem to have a lot of ideas & hope to make it the a social hub for all of Esuri not just for golfers. Look forward to seeing you there, Mike
