Default Glass Curtains

Has anybody had these installed. We have an "open" porch and I was thinking that if we had either these glass curtains or two sides of the porch filled in we would then be able to sit outside when the Levante is blowing but it is still sunny.

Hi Glynis

I looked at Glass Curtains but decided to have sliding door at either side and actually glassed in. I wondered if I would like it, but I open both door either side of the terrace and still get a good breeze in, but it gives me another room also in winter. I've found also it is quieter.

Our lower terrace is glassed in, with three sliding panels and a door at the front and two at the side, being a quad house the other side is solid wall. Makes an extra room, even in winter in the day, and gets nice and warm as it is South facing, in summer we have to have the windows open, and we have a sun blind to shade it as well. Would certainly think it better than glass curtains as it does cut the noise down as well.

Glynis do you mean the wind down tarps with a clear patch, or maybe the whole thing made from a clear piece ? We are considering having one of these for side of the porch where the Levante blows. We saw some in a house in San Andres and they were well made and had heavy duty hooks at the bottom to hold them in place. I found a place on the industrial estate at Colorado, but hear that there is another on the estate where you bought your rocking chair.

I did mean the glass ones but the ones you describe sound good. Worth investigating.
