Gibraltar
Hello, I am looking for information relating to moving from the uk to Gibraltar, just general stuff like cost of property, job availability and the like.
I know there is a large expat community there but cant find a forum here specific to Gib.

Hi - there is no forum specific to Gibraltar here but loads of threads in the Spain forum.
Search for "Gibraltar".
If you have specific questions there are a couple of people here who know a fair bit about it.

Hey there
I moved from UK to Gib 18 months ago.
House prices, extortionate. Think London prices and you are close! 1 bedroom apartment, 8th floor goes for around £1,000 pcm! A lot of people live across the boarder in Spain, a place called La Linea where prices are much more affordable.
They then wander across the boarder and walk across the runway with the sea on both sides. Lovely commute, much better than smelly subways lol.
Jobs, well same all over I guess, few and far between. I registered with a company called Recruit Gibraltar and they were great. Really honest that the jobs I wanted were very few and far between. At least they didnt try to string me along! However, they sent me several job alerts and within three months, I was employed! So you could obviously do worse than going down that route.
Cigarettes cheap, about £2 a pack, fuel around £1 and alcohol cheap too! whats not to like lol.

How would living across the border in spain affect your rights to use schools, hospitals etc in gib? I'm guessing this would not be allowed.
