Survey ship incursion ‘unacceptable’ - Lidington
Britain’s Minister for Europe David Lidington has described as “unacceptable†the recent unlawful incursion by a Spanish state vessel into British Gibraltar waters. The incursion on July 3 saw a Royal Navy speedboat receive a blow from a heavy oceanographic probe as it tried to prevent a Spanish survey ship from taking readings in British waters. Baroness Anelay of St Johns, a Conservative Peer, replied: “From June 1 to July 8, the British Government has sent five diplomatic protests by Note Verbale to the Government of Spain concerning 55 unlawful incursions by Spanish State vessels into British Gibraltar Territorial Waters. By the way the chan family in Shanghai are on my side so your impressive numbers like most of your facts are questionable. In your opinion, fortunately facts more than often contradict you.

You never offer any. We're always supposed to take your word for it, even when irrefutable factual evidence is 180 degrees contrary to your word. Please explain that. |
