There's a vicious rumour circulating that it was you paragliding over Gibraltar airport the other day disrupting air traffic, but personally I wouldn't believe it for a moment as I fully appreciate you have better things to occupy your mind. :rofl:

Starting on the 29th March there will be flights from Gibraltar to Tangiers with the option of carrying on to Casablanca on the same plane,Royal Air Maroc .

Also next month the Easyjet flights to Bristol start.

More options for people within economical travelling distance of Gibraltar.

Well it got up to a blistering 14 c with 10 mm of rain and winds 35km/hr gusting 57 km/hr.

She was in the lee of the rock when the picture was taken during a break in the rain ;)

An Interesting article from a " real " Gibraltarian. I wonder just how many of the current residents would accept that as Gibraltarians they should not regard themselves as British ??

I carry a British Passport, but I can't say that I truly identify with being "British". I really don't identify myself as "belonging" to any specific nationality. But that's just me.

I don't reckon Gib would be for me (but then again, I haven't tried it). Having said that, I reckon "native" Gibraltarians have just as much right to identify "Gibraltar" as their homeland as anyone else. And I see no reason why Brits, Spaniards, or anyone else who lives there to identify themselves as "Gibraltarian" if they feel that way.

The term Gibraltarian applies only to people who are on the official Register of Gibraltarians, they are also British.

Others are Gibraltar residents British or not.

Gibraltarians are entitled to an ID card that can be used as a passport in Europe.

Residents also have ID cards but these are not accepted for travel.

Similar to the situation in Spain with the NIE

That's a technical description. I was referring to what nationality one considers themselves. For example, I know a few Germans who have lived here so long, they consider themselves far more "Mallorquin" than German, but they are technically extranjeros.

Some on this forum will be aware that Gibraltar became the 54th member of UEFA in 2013 after 14 years of Spanish opposition.

Well shortly we will be applying for recognition by FIFA and it appears Spain is up to it's tricks again

If you are so concerned about Portugal why do you not post on there instead of wasting your efforts where few will read them.

Fortunately Fred's links provide factual evidence which can easily be checked out by those interested enough.

In total contrast you seem to churn out nothing but biased opinion based on obvious hatred with zilch evidence to back it up, so it's little wonder you are constantly peeing into the wind.

I respectfully suggest you follow Fred's example and begin providing some solid evidence to back up your remarks if you really want anyone at all to begin to take your rantings seriously.

How did I find the story by clicking on the link on Fred's post and looking on the left hand side of the news paper link where it was among other news stories from GiB.
