Hello - my friends would like to get married near Terriaveca in October 2014. Can anyone offer advice on how to go about this? Many thanks

Re: Getting married in Spain
Hi and welcome, not sure why this is in an area for things not directly related to Spain but no matter. I don't know the location and everything can be different depending on the area of Spain you are in. I was married on The Rock ( Gibraltar )
This has been discussed before on the main Spain section. I am not sure the search facility is working just now though. A Google search for 'getting married in Spain' will bring up some useful info.

As Concierge for the Spanish section of BE I would like to say hello and welcome.
BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.
Please let me know if you need any further help.

I guess you mean Torrevieja?
If you are catholic(?) go see the local priest and he will help you with all the info you need.
If not, see here > http://www.marryabroad.co.uk/get-married-in-spain.shtml
