I wasn't looking forward to the Bilbao landing (I've recently spent some time with friends in Navarra) but it turned out to be a very smooth landing, despite the cloud and rain moving around. In fact we had more turbulence flying back to the UK yesterday when there were various storms hitting the south of England.
I have to say I was very impressed with the view from Bilbao's terminal building, waiting for departure. Some airports keep you totally exposed from the surroundings outside, which I find very oppressive.
