Just bought scooter, how much should it cost to get gestor to sort tax etc.

If you've just bought it then the tax will(should) be paid for this year. Sometimes you can do a part-year payment ISTR.

It depends on the value of the scooter. You have to pay 7% ITP (modelo 620) based on the book value (not what you paid for it) plus other trafico costs etc.

I assume that you have ALL the seller's details and that you have an NIE?

Been quoted 160 euros for gestor to sort tax ob scooter is that about the going rate.

If it was bought last year then you should already have paid the vehicle tax for this year. Just go to your town hall and check that they know about the scooter.

... or, do you mean the transfer tax (ITP)? If so, 160€ seems a lot to pay unless it includes the actual tax as well.

7% I think is the usual transfer tax so 28€ and tax is about 8€ (but this depends on your local town hall). Remember that vehicle tax is controlled locally by your town hall and is not (yet) national.

150 for the change seems to be the going rate that I've seen quoted
