I have been puzzled by the way the GC have been parking for traffic stops in an out of Esuri. Twice now we have seen them parked on the splitter island at the motorway roundabout so that they could only see clearly cars existing Esuri and yesterday day they were on the central reservation at the golf club roundabout again looking back into Esuri. Today they were again at the motorway and had stopped an older UK registered car. It clicked a few weeks ago they were reportedly having a purge around the CDS on UK cars that had not been matriculated into Spain. They can now link by tablet into UK systems to check car tax, MoT and insurance. So any car not covered was threatened with impounding, crushing or matriculation. There is a recent thread on the main site about the rules and restrictions on how long you and your car can be in Spain worth reading through! We also gathered together our ferry tickets and air tickets just in case we need to prove neither us or the car are overstaying the rules in Spain.
