Your right on that one. Multiroom use's a different call platform that counts on seeing the CLI so even if you withhold the service will get killed. They still work for the PPV stuff. I know mines still playing, But if i was the OP then i would take both boxes and use the other one as a FTV.

You can use smaller dishes than the map suggests, but you will have difficulty in receiving those BBC and ITV siganls. For example Five and Sky news you can get with an 80cm dish for most of Spain.
So in answer to your original question...the answer is that it depends what channels you want to receive.

the map gives an indication as to the required dish size to recieve the channels on the weakest Astra 28.5 satellite, Astra 2d, which is used to broadcast BBC and ITV, as stated in the post.
You can use smaller dishes than the map suggests, but you will have difficulty in receiving those BBC and ITV siganls. For example Five and Sky news you can get with an 80cm dish for most of Spain.
