freeview?
this might be a silly question!! Does freeview exist in Spain for UK channels or is it only sky? I have an LCD with built in freeview and was wondering if it is worth taking it to Spain

I would say take it as most digital tuners sold in Europe today are not country specific,you can usually change the country via the internal menu,however you will only get Spanish terrestrial digital

As "freeview" is transmitted to your terrestrial tv aerial , you won't get any Uk channels on your LCD with built in freeview. You will however be able to tune it in to receive all the Spanish "free" digital channels.
