Check out the 'Practice makes perfect' book series on Amazon.co.uk NOT com as they didn't have them on there. There's a book on vocabulary, another on sentence structure, another on verb tenses etc. exercises included. The books were very reasonable, much cheaper than from Bookworld, however postage to Spain was dear. I ended up with 4 books for £30.00. I am planning to follow the books and also to find a Spanish person to chat with who would like to learn English.

A quick question about the pardon: Do you register on the pardon of a city i.e. Alicante, or of a town/village like Novelda/Monforte? Also, If i do register in Monforte, and I move, can I just simply get change which place I appear on the pardon?

Can I gently correct you Matlab? It is "padron", not "pardon", just thought you'd better know for when you go and ask for it!

Thanks very much missile. It may not be a long walk from my villa. I've been trying to locate the street name (Calle Rio Odiel, Quesada, Rojales, 03176) of my villa but it's not in google.

If you click on the google link I gave you .................

If you can find the arches? head up the main street (Avenida de las naciones) past QSD offices and Calle de Blanca is on your left.

If you find the town hall in Quesada or the Ayuntamiento in Rojales they have up to date maps available for free.

My street name is not in google but I can find one (Calle Río Nervión, Rojales) which is down the street from my villa. When I click that link you gave me for the town hall & get direction for nervion, it's not far out. I don't know why Rio Odiel is not in google but Nervion is. Both are just as new.
Rio Odiel is the address I've been given. When I saw the villa last Nov. it has that street name.

Thanks missile. I get a map from them.

I would suggest you check your address, I am sure 03176 is not the correct post code for property in Ciudad Quesada. If you would like to tell me the name of adjacent street(s) I shall try to help. Or you could ask in the post office (Correos)

Not all streets are on google. If you are near Calle Rio Nervion, you are close to the Aqua Park http://mw2.google.com/mw-panoramio/p...ll/4965126.jpgand it is a 10 minute walk to Ciudad Quesada town hall

My lawyer just told me that my address is correct & that is the postal code. i just hope that the postman will find the way to deliver my mails.

I'm not there yet. I can't remember the adjacent street when I was last there in Nov but rio nervion is down the street where I 'll be (less than a min walk). Rio nervion is in atalaya-13 & I'm on atalaya-17.

I'll definitely enroll to the Spanish course as it's very difficult to communicate without it. Hope I'm not too late for the Sept course.

Thanks anyway.

Who is your lawyer:eek:

AFIK, the post code for all properties within Rojales (which includes Ciudad Quesada) is 03170. If you check your utility contract / bills, they ought to have the correct code on them.

I wish you luck having post delivered:rofl:. I would suggest you get a post box at the Correos.
