Anyone been able to buy this seasons flu vaccine in Malaga area? I went to my usual farmacia and they said it wasn't available yet and to come back in a week, if anybody has got it yet how much was it? Sotogrande area but in Malaga twice a week

It’s not available from pharmacies yet as the whole supply has gone to the local health centres and is readily available to those that need it, the over 65s and other vulnerable people.

I had mine 10 days ago. Just wait and it will become available soon. I think it is about €14 if you choose to pay for it. They are also offering the pneumonia vaccine to qualifying people.

Just for info, this year's flu vaccine appears to be readily available in France from most pharmacies. We collected it early in the week (no payment required for seniors), and made a rdv next week for the jab. We've had them over the last few years, and so far (touch wood) no adverse side effect.

My Wife and I got ours done last week. We called the Andalucia health number and made an appointment for Wednesday at the health centre ( Estepa) . We both turned up and waited in a queue, only to be told that it was being done at a different place in the town. Most of the people around us seemed amused that we were the only people who were not aware of this, but this seems the Spanish way " we know, so why should we tell anybody else?" Anyway all done and dusted.
