picked up one for 40€ in carrefour... with a 10€ voucher for us, so "technically" it was only 30€

I ended up getting the Osram one from Carrefour. Very good build quality.

Stores have begun displaying them more prominently now. Even my local Carrefour has a whole box of them right by the entrance with information also provided about the legal requirement to own one from next year.

Thats the one I got a couple of weeks ago and because I linked my Iberdrola electric account to Carrefour, 5% of our electric bill is credited to spend in store.
Didnt put the batteries in as will wait until its needed.

Yep, otherwise if I put them in and I dont crash in the next two or three years, when I do they will be flat....
last time I drove over a cliff I had to open the boot and get the silly triangle out, it came in handy as a makeshift hang glider though....

Ive left it all in the box it came in and its in the glovebox. Got no idea where to put the thing in the Moke of course.
