Default Fitness Instructing in Spain

Hello! First time posting and hope someone can help.
I'm a personal trainer/fitness instructor from south london and looking to take my skills over to the sunny south of spain.
Would anyone know if there is actually a market place for this?
When I think of British people in spain I would imagine a lot of them are there to retire and enjoy a slower pace of life - but how do people still stay active? go to fitness classes? Is there even that many gyms out there offering regular classes like aerobics etc.
If anyone has any information on group classes or bootcamps or gyms in your area I'd love to know more information and how it works.
Thank You!!

Very high unemployment levels here in every area of business.Lots of things to take into account, you language skills, relevant qualifications.I live in a medium size town, fitness centers seem to open up and last for about a year (building lease?).May be best to pick a region then come over to do some in depth research?

When I think of British people in Spain I wonder if you would be better opening a shop selling British goods or just selling beer and fags?

Your posts suggests that you're looking only for British / English speaking clients. Is that correct ?

A friend of mine came to the Costa del Sol with similar ambitions. He now works for a swimming pool company cleaning and maintaining pools. Basically in and around our area huge choice of gyms, aerobics classes and similar.

Well, OP hasn't come back but in case he sees this - I agree. I've had lengthy holidays (1 month +) in various parts of Spain, including remote areas, and now live part time in a fairly non-touristy area. I've never had any problem finding a nearby gym for my weekly Zumba fix.
