Default Fishing in Spain

Is a licence required for fishing from the beach or can you just cast your fishing rod and go fishing? We will be staying in Adra, Costa Almeria.

Hi,

As far as I know you need a license. It's the same license for fresh and sea water fishing and I think it's about 80 euros a year. I think it can also differ area to area.

Try doing a search. Sea fishing is very different in terms of licenses than fresh water fishing.

There was a thread about it a while back.
