Are there any laws, regulations or anthing els regarding the setting off of fireworks ??
Specifically Sundays or say at midnight or later ??
Does the person(s) controlling the "event" have to have some sort of local permission, obey any form of health & safety rules, give notice to locals of the event ??
thanks

Judging by what goes on around our way at weddings on Fridays and Saturdays, it seems to be a case of the more the better.

we had fireworks for my daughter's birthday last year - I'm sure the shop which sold them to me would have mentioned if I needed a licence

Except that it started at 6pm sunday and eventually finished at 0130 this morning. Gave up counting at about 60 around 9pm but could have been upwards of 100 - all big boomers like the maroons used to call out coastguards and lifeboatmen.
and nearly everyone exploded above our house.
and we also "enjoyed" the smoke from these things in our living room

and all those in the running of the club don't live anywhere near, so their families would not have been inconvenienced.
But we are obviously not the only ones inconvenienced as there are quite a few people living in this part of town.
