What an ignorant response!
Lynnxa was replying to a direct question, Her answer was relevant to that question, and it does go to show that if you get off your bum, it is possible to find work, Good luck to her I say.

I've only been back online a week after the worst year (financially & otherwise) we've had since we've been here - but that's what we've done - got off our bums & now we're heading in the right direction again

Dear Lynaxa and all of my fellow countryfolks if that is the politically correct address nowadays ,
Please accept my sincere apologies for my response which was not intended to offend and I promise to still help your wee laddies when the get into bother outside the chip shop, help your Grannies get on the bus and stand up and fight for any poor soul who needs a hand on a Saturday night.

I just want to help a pal in his hour of need.

A lot of people don`t get off their bum though. They are lazy and expect it to be handed on a plate. It`s hard enough finding work in your own country so you should expect it to be more difficult abroad.... unless you are going to work very long hours for very little pay.
The economic situation is affecting everyone in all countries one way or another.

I think its wonderful when people actually get a job out in Spain or run a business - good luck to them i say they deserve it :thumbsup: - the work front is one of the reasons that we are looking elsewhere at the moment but never say never :)
