I'm really hoping someone can help with a recommendation for a gestor with a good grasp of dealing with a self-employed Brit! I am moving to Gran Canaria in June and will have to declare my taxes there, but I understand it's complicated and I will need a savvy gestoria. Does anyone know of one in the south of the island, please? Any help gratefully received - I've asked on facebook several times, to no avail! Thanks in advance

Have you looked at the residency side of being able to move? Do you have an EU passport in addition to the UK one?

All that's done, I am a resident. I only have a UK passport. I am moving there full-time in June. I just need a gestoria to do my tax, I work freelance and am paid in sterling.

So are you registered as self employed - Autónomo. Or if not, what visa do you have?

I have a full working visa, all I need is to find a recommended gestoria in the south of GC, please. Then I can declare my taxes there once I'm based full-time. Until now I have been declaring my taxes in the UK.

I'm so confused . You have residency yet pay taxes in UK and not Spain - how is that possible?

I wonder if the OP is confusing the Visa with "residency" ie the extra stuff that you need to go through when you actually move to Spain
