Finding a Cleaner in Granada
Hi Expats,
Does anyone know a good way to find a reliable cleaner in Spain? I'm looking for a cleaner in a small town called Huetor Tajar in Granada. I tried an agency in the city but they are pretty pricey. Thanks! |

How much is pricey?

Anything over €10/hr would be pricey.

Re: Finding a Cleaner in Granada
My figure was for a self employed cleaner, not an agency one. Most of them are found by personal recommendation.

Get the word out locally, the older Spanish lady normally LOVES cleaning and a nose around your house as a bonus! This arrangement in my area of Granada is normally 5 euros an hour and you supply the materials.

You should be ashamed of yourself paying only 5 euros an hour.

It's worth pointing out that the minimum wage in Spain is about €4/hr.
