Tommy and Irene, I read it that he has admitted defeat in the US and is hoping that he can extend the life of Filmon by keeping the court cases running in Europe.
If the US case law is confirmed then the European courts will follow suit and the end of re broadcast TV as we now see it is inevitable.
Clearly he has no morals in business as he wants to take money from subcribers and advertisers but not PAY for the content he supplies.

How is that different to some one selling stolen goods from the back of a car ???

the EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE has had that case,ITV are now waiting for the english high court to rubber stamp the judgement,and then its just a matter of closing them down...i have been told that after TVCATCHUP ,they are no2 in the broadcasters sights

The nest issue will be control of VPN,s providing false internet address;s.
It could be seen as an over reaction but if it stops the growth in Pornograhy and those who use it to abuse children or those who would attack our society than will it be a price worth paying.

The ECJ has ruled that restricting viewing within the 27 is not allowed of a channel that is LEGAL in one of the member states,so using a device to watch a geo-blocked service is allowed

I remember posting that info weeks ago, and the holders of the IP won.

Its all very well becoming a billionaire founded on stealing other people's property and selling it on to unsuspecting members of the public, but when you actually found a business based on the same principles and do it knowing full well that it will be short lived is absolute madness. (I have already been told I must not use another certain word)
The theft and/or misuse of Intellectual Property has been discussed on more than one occasion on this forum, discussing television and paintings.

Despite the bleatings of Alki David about the big boys ganging up on the little guy, no one can be allowed to steal and misuse and misrepresent someone elses property rights with impunity.
If the big boys pulled out of the business for 12months and didn't issue new material everyone would be up in arms. But then they don't want to pay the going rate for the product, the proceeds from which will pay for the next series of programmes.

What would Alki David say if I was to take his transmissions and rebroadcast them?? I would be hit with a shower of writs stopping me - how ridiculous is that!!

bit hard that as it was only filed 8 days ago ... unless you mean the U.S. District Court for California, issued a injunction 27/12/12 against FilmOn,which i posted on this site last year ...

because in august thousands of people in spain will lose BRITISH TV via satellite dishs...they will be looking for a internet solution and this company is the one that 90 percent now use to watch BBC/ITV .but i will bow to your control,and not publish anymore information here .
