Hello all, can anybody clarify the situation re; ferry from mainland Spain to Tangiers please ? there are websites that will seemingly take bookings ( I havent tried to finalise the process so I am not sure if it actually completes) but I was told by a Dutch guy on our site that the ferries hadnt run for a while, does anybody have an up to date clarification please ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

AFAIK, only commercial traffic is carried on ferries from Spain to Morocco. Passenger ferries are running to the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla, but the land border into Morocco is currently closed.
This is due to Covid-19 situation.

Just for your info (if you didn't know), its not good to be stuck in Cueta or Melilla at any time; especially not in the Pandemic.
I sympathize because I have often thought Morrocc would be a nice place to stay during these years myself! ✨🌸ðŸ• 🌸✨💛ð «ðŸ«ðŸ«ðŸŒ³ðŸŒ³ðŸŒ³

Hiya
Yeah I have seen the 'situation' to put it diplomatically in Cueta, and we didnt fancy getting stuck there, just fancied a few months in Asilha whilst its a bit chilly here in PT............ we shall put that idea to one side and file it.
Cheers.

The gov.uk site indicates flights and ferries suspended until 31st January.
