Default Fencing Swimming Pool for Safety

Has anyone seen or know of where to get temporary fencing to put around a pool for safety reasons for a toddler. As the house would be rented it wouldn´t be possible to put a permanent structure in.

I thought I read the law was if you had a pool in a rental it now had to be fenced for safety reasons.

I believe that is the law but how many rental properties have this done! Very, very few, and if you insisted on having it done before renting. You wouldn´t get the rental.

Yet another reason why I don't want a pool. Remember that the fence needs to be child proof, vertical slats so they can't climb etc etc

As we have a now 3 year old we got offered a fencing system, strangely enough, by the company that did our satellite install. We can take it down or put it up in about 10mins. Not expensive and I would say an absolute must for anyone with a nipper and an unguarded pool.

So now we can leave the little tyke on the patio while we nip for a pint!

Joking of course.

It's this one:

This looks fantastic - and so safe, but do they do all over Spain?

Chiclanagirl I know this is bit like shutting the stable after the horse has bolted and god forbid it would ever be needed, but as an extra precautionthere are now tags that children can wear and the parents wear one an alarm will go off as soon as soon as it gets wet, they sell them in Leeroy Merlin. Hope you get the fence sorted out before your grandaughter arrives.

Just put a cable tie round their ankles and then they won't make it as far as the pool.

By the sound of it, it would be easier and safer for all to fence the kids off?!
