Extra UK State Pension this month!
I just checked my bank account to find an extra (smaller) State pension payment this month, 12 days after the last. I know we are getting an increase from 9/4/12 but I can't reconcile this amount. Anybody know what's going on?

It's probably the new Summer Cooling Allowance that we all deserve!

no need. I just rang Newcastle. Apparently this is arrears as they have reassessed my pension for some reason and they hadn't been paying me enough. This is just the backdated monies. QED.
