Hi Everybody,

I Dont know what the percentage of forumites is who run a business on here, so I have some questions to ask if anybody runs a business here that mainly either buys widgets in Spain or Imports from the UK then Exports back to the UK, If no body here does anything like this, then maybe you will know of a Forum that specialises in English people who run business from Spain. Are you specifically asking about the import export side of things?

It depends what the widgets are, but doesn't parallel importing tech goods put you at severe risk of being under the carousel fraud spotlight and all the pre-paying of VAT / hassle / etc that comes with it?

That is a problem I will have to overcome for sure, The hassle for the admin side of things for me is a Major hassle, but in advance I expect those problems. I am more interested in people's experience of shipping items to the UK, cost and timeframes, damage and loss, that kind of thing. I know Sports goods and clothes for instance are ordered heavily online from Spanish suppliers.

Some points JDR made in a previous thread have made me think again about relocating to Spain, this week I think I have now sussed out what I can do.

My Spanish wife knows of a few sites, I`ll ask her as she`s Spanish would no more about it than me.
