Europe doesn't want us.
I wondered why big hitters, Cameron, Major and the strange Liam Fox have been on our screens recently to advocate our renegotiation of the EU treaty.
Europe doesn't want us (the UK) any more, they've had enough of our veto since Cameron used it last year. They're going to have their own foreign ministry and army, and we're not included. We might as well abandon UKIP, we don't need them any more.

Most of us don't want Europe, but the lying politicians keep promising us a vote, but then they don't give us one, cos they know we will bag Europe sharpish like.

Re: Europe doesn't want us.
If the European army comes about, the big members are Germany, France, Poland, Italy and Spain. On a map of Europe it looks about right, the big middle bit.
It makes me wonder why in 1939, we did what we did?
All right, the sides from many a war have changed since they were fought, rightly so, for example, we are on reasonably friendly terms with the US now and don't hate the Boers like we once did, but this one is more recent and more memorable.
But maybe it's futile to go on about wars from all those years ago, I suspect we might have been better off had we been more enthusiastic about the European idea in the first place and over the years; after all, if they sideline us now, who do we trade with?

Can anyone imagine that proposed hotchpotch of a European Army ?
By the time all concerned had got around to making an agreed decision about a particular course of action we would all long ago have been wiped off the face of the planet.

The French would do all the raping and pillaging
The Germans would stand rigidly to attention
The Spanish would drink and smoke.
That leaves the Poles to fight.

two, three ?
and we had trade with the countries of the EU during all that time.
to be honest I cannot see that we have gained or lost anything, only our annual subscription to be the member of an exclusive club that seems to give nothing back.
