You can vote in regional and European elections in Spain and general elections in the UK (as though you were living at your last UK address).

Actually, no. I think the limit is 15 years from your last address, but can't be sure.
I left England as a minor so was never on any electoral register. I was first legally able to vote (in Spanish local elections) when I was 45.
