Hi all. Does anyone have any idea how one would obtain an EU Digital Covid Certificate of recovery from the UK? There are numerous articles online but nothing stating how it works other than you can get one 11 days after testing positive. My daughters, 11 and 15, have tested positive and are due here in 18 days.

Each region is responsible for generating the centificate, the quickest answer can probably be got by them calling their region's hotline and asking or going to their GP surgery. If they had a private test they should bring the results.

If they recovered while in UK, I dont think they can apply for it.
"The EU Digital COVID Certificate Regulation entered into application on 01 July 2021. EU citizens and residents will now be able to have their Digital COVID Certificates issued and verified across the EU."
"National authorities are in charge of issuing the certificate. It could, for example, be issued by test centres or health authorities, or directly via an eHealth portal. Information on how to get the certificate should be provided by the national health authorities."

Are your daughters EU citizens or EU residents?

My original question is now invalid as the new rules are quite complicated.
For 3rd country citizens over 12 years old and resident in the UK, coming from the UK, you need to complete the form and present either a vaccination certificate and PCR. Antigen tests are no longer accepted. Under 12's just complete the form.
For 3rd country citizens over 12 years old and non-resident in the UK, coming from the UK, you need to complete the form and present a vaccination certificate or antigen test. Under 12's just complete the form.
Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare - Professionals - Travel and COVID-19 (mscbs.gob.es)
The notice was issued on 2nd July and apparently went in to force on the 5th but it only just appeared on the mscbs site. I'm sure the authorities had no idea either as a UK resident guest of mine flew in on 6th July with just an antigen test. The way it's worded indicates that unvaccinated UK residents over 12 years old are not allowed in. However, the Embassy of Spain in the UK have tweeted a handy chart indicating that the requirement for UK residents coming from the UK can present the certificate or PCR test result. I wouldn't normally trust anything from social media, but in this case it should be reliable
