ESPN frequencies and channel numbers.

ESPN UK: 12304 H - Sky Channel 417
ESPN UK HD: 12266 H - Sky Channel 442
ESPN Classic : 11344 H -Sky Channel 429
ESPN America (UK): 11585 H - Sky Channel 430
ESPN UK (Pub sub): 11585 H

So if you have lost ESPN UK on 417 there is no other frequency / transponder for it - unless you go HD.

Why should there be another frequency / transponder for ESPN? Channels usually are on different frequencies if they have different regional variations. As ESPN, and most other Sky pay channels, do not have regional variations there is no need for it to be on another frequency. BBC ITV C4 Five (and one or two Sky channels for irish versions) have different frequencies for all the different regional version of their channels (for regional news and advertising). Just about all the others on UK satellite are just one channel variation for the whole of the UK.

And, if you mean changing the default transponder frequency on services, 4, 0, 1, select, this makes no difference to ANYTHING once you have channels on your sky box. You just change this to help boot your box up, not to make channels last longer.

Solution: get your dish, LNB, cable, receiver checked out.
