Default Entering Spain by ferry - customs?

Hello! I live in Spain and my parents have decided to visit me via ferry and drive down this time. They asked me if I wanted to take advantage of them having storage in the car for them to bring me some of my belongings I've left in the UK.

It would be things such as my sewing machine, books, knick-knacks. Nothing really very valuable, but stuff that would be useful for me to have here. They're things I've had for years, I don't have receipts.

Has anyone done this? Will they have any issues?

There shouldn't be a problem, especially driving a car. Customs seem to be more interested in vans.
We've made numerous trips with odd things from the UK and never had any problems. Most of the stuff we've brought over is obviously well used but we've also brought newer items over, obviously removing packaging before packing in car.

Good luck.

Do the trip 3 x every year. Never stopped - even with a big, new mattress!

We have done the trip quite a few times since Brexit in a car, no questions asked, we are in a UK registered car so it's quite difficult for authorities to know if people are importing something or just taking it on holiday with them and it will be coming back, all they ask is do you have any dogs or cats etc
