Hi
There have been many threads on this subject; a simple seach should bring all the results you need. At the end of the day, it all depends if you want to be legal or not or perhaps whether you have the money to become legal.

No probs - having scoured the various posts, if you have any problems or donĀ“t understand then by all means ask away - there is a wealth of information available and people are always willing to help and clarify

And beware of 'help' being offered to do it for you ... you CAN do it yourself, you just need to apply yourself and be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting in queues. If you prefer someone to do it for you let us know on here, before you agree, how much they are asking to do it, just to check you are not being ripped off

Make sure you do it as soon as you arrive and then you can avoid paying the registration tax which is based on the current value of the car.
