Default English books

I've been having a major sort out and have been thinking, is it a good idea to get rid of my unwanted English books before I go to Spain, or would there be lots of appreciative peeps out there already that are missing reading English books and would give them a good home? What does everyone think? Is there a place where you can swop books and suchlike?

At the book stalls at the markets you can sell your books easily. Or you can start your own stall at the market to sell them. Or ebay.

there's a second-hand bookshop in Javea port that will allow you to swap them for credit against other books.....which you can then return & get around half the cost back in credit again!

I know that might be a bit far away for you on a regular basis, but I'm sure they can't be the only ones running a scheme like that

Depending on where you are going there is great demand, loads of car boot stalls selling them, usually get 50% back on return, so you can take them in and get up to a couple of euros, and then choose more. Carrefour and other large supermarkets usually have a good supply of Englich language books, but can be pricy, so most people use the boot sales. There are also, in my area, a number of book shops run by English people selling mainly english books.
