Re: England football v Spanish Football, what is the big secret?
Dear oh dear,oh dear,oh dear.
How embarrasing is this ?
CELTIC 2 BARCA 1.
CELTIC a team of nobodies and English league cast offs, very unlucky not to take something from BARCA in the first leg as well.
Once again we see that this tippy tappy, nancy boy footie, isn't quite all it's cracked up to be.
Never mind, it made my mate Paco happy, he's a Real fan.

But lets see who reaches the latter stages

Not at all, I agree with this article. This reflects the situation, and I talked about that the clubs had started selling players and paying off debts in one of my earlier posts

Oh all right if you want to be pedantic - they have won everything at some point, but not all the time and not all in the same year. That would be just toooooo boring
You go hoping to win, of course, but you have to learn to be good losers too, and appreciate the game and the skill of the opposition. Sometimes your team loses unfairly, but that's part of life.
Footballers are role models for young people, and their attitude to the game rubs off on their followers. It seems to me the British way is to slag off a player, a team or a manager whenever they lose; it's always someone's fault. That sets a bad example for the fans because it creates a blame culture, which the kids then draw on every time something goes wrong in their lives. What they need to be concentrating on is how to get better!
I don't think there is anything like this blame culture in the Spanish sides.

Didnt win last night and against Celtic There like any other team have good and bad seasons. Not all Spanish players are angels are they.
Saw on tv most English and Scopttish clubs do a lot for charity, for schools and communoty groups, stuff like that.
Football like all sport is a industry like it or not, not like it used to be.
