If you bring up subjects like this, so many people will immediately tell you "but you MUST - it's the law", completely dismissing the notion that the law may not be entirely fair or legitimate, or designed to serve the public's best interests. But they do whatever the government tells them to, because they've been bred to believe that's just the way it is...

Of course most cash businesses must carry 2 sets of books. It's a common neccessity, because in a cash business, the government presumes you are not declaring some percentage of your cash intake, estimates what your "real" income might be, and from that, calculates your tax burden. So if you actually told the truth, you'd be paying a lot more than you actually owe...

Imagine, 3% take from literally 100's of billions of transactions per day? Let the good times roll!
