Default Electricity and water suppliers in Aspe

Hi

I have just bought a flat in Aspe (Costa Blanca) and need to get electricity and water reconnected. Can anyone tell me who the utility supply companies are in the Aspe area?

Thank you.

As Concierge for the Spanish section of BE I would like to say hello and welcome.

BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.

Please let me know if you need any further help.

The Town Hall (Ayuntamiento) can provide information on the local suppliers of electricity, water and gas. http://www.aspe.es/

Most likely to be Aquagest and Ibedrola

Aguagest has now been taken over and is known as Hidragua. Electricity may be Iberdrola, we are 20k down the road and it is supplied by HCEnergia.

Thank you for your replies.

I now know that Iberdrola supply electricity and I am in contact with them.

The water supply is still a mystery as the company that supply the small town next to Aspe do not supply Aspe!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Martyn
