Default Electrical items

Hi, I just joined this site today and i am not sure how to send messages. My husband and I are having a house built in Hondon de las nieve and move in next year. Can anyone out there tell me if I can use small electrical appliances from the UK(iron, toaster, kettle, microwave) in Spain by simply changing the plugs?
Also any advice on whether or not to bring our car over would be appreciated

No problem with any electrical things. When you get here go out and buy loads of plugs and change them all over. I will leave the car bit to others.

Sell the car in UK and buy one in Spain, saves a lot of hassle.

I fully agree with jdr, unless your car is a classic, then buy one when you get over, you will NOT have the hassle of matriculation then always being sat on the wrong side of the car to see ahead to overtake, to be able to get tickets from barrier machines etc.
