Dangerous, all the UK TV progs were saying that watching through several pairs of sunglasses is almost as bad as not using any, you need the correct glasses, or use a reflected view.

We are watching it using a kitchen colander and a sheet of white paper, no damage to your eyes that way. You can also use 2 sheets of white paper one with a pinhole in it. Sun glasses (however many you wear) are no protection, regards Bryony.

Just a little bit left here in CE... at 10:51

A wonderful experience! And my eyes are fine..... in 99 there was cloud everywhere.... so I am so pleased to have seen it down here.

Sky TV doing a great job.... just saw the diamond ring in Norway.

Excellent.. also to see the rough surface of the moon, in front of the sun!! And a sunspot as big as the Earth!!

The glasses worked perfectly and no side effects, as I planned it. I know how to do it properly.

Did you photograph the pinhole images.. if so please could you share a couple of shots. All over the internet but good to get some from CE

This was a highlight and so glad we didnt have too much cloud cover. I had SKY on my wireless headphones and sat watching the phases of the eclipse upstairs and alternated with the telly when there was something interesting there.

Crazy...... Well I do mention the moon on every post on the signature line! So I am a bit excited by all this.

And lets face it you cant beat a "Celestial Body"

Jon
